Porcelain and Ceramic

The two most popular materials used in the industry. With a wide range of styles, sizes and colours there is something there to suit everybody.

Natural Stone

​

Stone offers a beautiful timeless finish in almost any environment. Being a natural product it is a more complex material to work with compared with porcelain and ceramic. You will  however be left with an elegant product that ages beautifully.

Mosaics

​

Mosaic tiles offer an eye catching alternative compared with the majority of traditional tiles. Coming in a range of materials including stone and glass, they are often used as a feature in a room to add interest. Or perhaps fully tiled in a wet room to give that wow factor.

Encaustic Cement Tiles

​

Currently a very fashionable option on the market. Like stone, a more complex material to work with that can require before and aftercare. There are some fantastic designs around that will offer a stunning finish.

Preparation

​

There are a variety of situations where the correct preparation will improve the quality and longevity of your tiles. Some examples include:

• laying uncoupling membranes (to prevent your floor tiles and grouts from cracking)

• self levelling to give a perfectly flat finish to the floor before fixing tiles

• waterproofing wet areas to prevent any water seeping through and damaging the substrate over time
